Firefighters deal with a wide range of emergency situations like fires, oil and chemical spills, natural disasters like floods and earthquake, traffic accidents and rescue of trapped persons by using appropriate fire-fighting equipment and safety devices. They also give advice to people and organisations on how to prevent fires and accidents.
